Cryptonovae’s ecosystem is powered by its own ERC-20 compatible utility token $YAE.

The Audit

To ensure the security and trustworthiness of the $YAE token’s smart contract, Cryptonovae successfully completed an independent audit by CertiK.

CertiK is a leading blockchain security company consisting of a team of seasoned engineers and security auditors applying different approaches and detection methods in the auditing process.

In the audit, CertiK used Formal Verification to mathematically prove that the smart contract has no issues and vulnerabilities in the source code by calculating it against every possible value for all variables.

The examination that was performed utilized Dynamic Analysis, Static Analysis, and Manual Review techniques.

The smart contract was tested against both common and uncommon attack vectors. CertiK assessed the codebase to ensure compliance with current best practices and industry standards and the audit found that the contract logic met the specifications and intentions. Furthermore the contract structure and implementation was referenced against similar smart contracts produced by industry leaders and finally the entire code base was manually reviewed by industry experts.

Smart Contract Recommendations

CertiK was unable to identify any critical or major issues and the smart contract was found to follow best practices. The 7 minor recommendations were all addressed and approved immediately. The full audit report can be found here.

This final version of the Smart Contract used for the Cryptonovae token will receive the full allocation of tokens before the listing date, but they will not be transferable until after listing (exact date and time to be announced). All vested tokens are allocated immediately as well but will only be transferable for the amount that has been vested, unlocked on a daily basis. We will renounce the ownership of the contract once the full supply has been allocated, so no special powers will be available for anyone after listing, locking the maximum supply at the fully allocated 100 million YAE and preventing potential re-minting of burned tokens later on. The full contract including tests are already publicly available on our Github so feel free to review the code yourself if you wish.
