Cryptonovae Development Update

The Cryptonovae team is hard at work designing, researching, and developing new features to bring forth the most powerful trading tool on the crypto market to reality.

While we are still not able to specify an exact date and time for the public launch, we want to share the details of our development efforts and showcase the small achievements we are making every week.

You can expect this type of article to be published every week where you can get a deeper understanding of every improvement, fix, a feature that we are implementing, and follow along with the team.

Word of caution, some of the following items are perhaps too technical or confusing, but we are adamant about providing context to anybody in our community, so if there is any question that appears, feel free to drop a comment or join us in a discussion on our Discord.

Cryptonovae Desktop App

The desktop app is the flagship product of Cryptonovae, this is what our users will use to connect to various exchanges, execute and manage their trades, and do technical analysis.

Since last week we have achieved the following:

UX/UI fixes and improvements
Resolved a bug triggered by translations in the layout manager
Resolved a bug causing Binance charts to be opened regardless of active exchanges
Implemented the continuous integration build for the Windows desktop application.
The replay mode (which was previously broken) is now fixed
Improvements in the code signing configuration

Trading Engine

The trading engine is the powerhouse behind the desktop application. Our users rely on the trading engine to ensure their trades are communicated effectively to all exchange servers and their execution is perfect.

This week we made the following improvements:

Uniswap configuration is fixed (base and quote addresses are now properly managed)
Backend progress on chart history issue completed
Refactored the branch structure for the new CI build for Windows.
Kraken Futures are now implemented and working correctly

Cryptonovae.com

The main Cryptonovae website, where users go to create their accounts, download the latest software package, claim various rewards and pay for services (if they are using fiat payments).

Here are last week’s updates:

Stripe subscription configuration is complete
UX improvements regarding YAE token holder benefits
Progress made on licensing endpoints, but not yet complete
Implemented new licensing/plans flow and navigation
Improved UX/UI of dialogs, cards, buttons
Holding plan wallet integration completed
General bug fixes

Marketplace website

The marketplace website will be used by users to create and purchase trading bots, strategies, and additional features for the desktop application, primarily using the YAE token.

Here are the updates for this week:

Developer documentation UI completed
Plugin review UI is complete
Successful implementation of referencing pages
Backtesting and Strategy Manager Tools completed on the backend

This week we implemented the following:

The light mode features are implemented (waiting for deployment)
SEO optimization
New page design implementation

Websites Backend

This category includes all backends for all pages and websites related to the Cryptonovae brand and represents the backbone foundational structure that all of the websites are built upon.

In the previous week, we completed the following:

Finalized the Stripe webhook
Created the marketplace API for plugin creators, pending implementation
Created and implemented a creators sort/filter
Started work on the Plugin review system
Licensing endpoints are now customizable
